The California Fertilizer Foundation
The California Fertilizer Foundation offers funding for the continuation and/or implementation of after school garden programs. The use of the funds are in order to increase understanding and awareness of agriculture in California's youth through school gardens. For more information, go to: www.calfertilizer.org/

Deadline: Applications are accepted anytime and are reviewed twice a year after January 15th and June 15th

Do Something offers various grants for students involved in community service.

Mix It Up Grants
Have a great idea about how to challenge social boundaries and bring
down the walls that divide your school? Teaching Tolerance wants to
help, and, to prove it, they’re giving $500 grants to support youth-directed
programs and projects that address social boundaries in schools or
communities.

The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation offers competitive grants to schools that help to affect improvements in areas of importance to the Phish fan community. Programmatic focus is on diverse music styles and genres, education, and children, particularly those that benefit disenfranchised groups. For more information, go to: www.mockingbirdfoundation.org.
Award Amount: $50 to $5,000
Deadline: Letters of inquiry must first be submitted and are accepted twice a year.

Target Grants
Target is accepting applications from organizations in communities where the company does business for its Local Store Grants program.
Grant applications are accepted from nonprofit programs that impact any of the following areas: arts, early childhood reading, and family violence prevention.
