Healthy Choices
AmeriCorps
Now Recruiting
for 2017-18

Do you know a young person (over 18 years old) who is looking for experience working with youth?

Healthy Choices AmeriCorps (a program of School Health Programs, SFUSD) is recruiting AmeriCorps Members for School Year 2017-18.  Maybe you know someone that might be looking for experience within SFUSD. It is a full-time 10-month stipend position (approx. $1525/month) that pays an education award upon completion of 1700 hours of AmeriCorps service.

Would you be able to share this opportunity with someone who may be a good fit?
AmeriCorps Members are in schools 4 days per week and participating in training 1 day per week. The areas of focus are mentoring, school climate, social emotional learning, positive interventions in schools, team building and structured group activities from a Youth Development perspective. If interested in seeing the role of a School Social Worker, Teacher, or Nurse first-hand this is a great opportunity to partner with school staff in order to meet the needs of schools and students.

Spread the word about this opportunity!
