Extra Mile: Stories to Inspire Guidelines

Student Support Services Department will be posting “Extra Mile” stories on our website to highlight the successes of our staff’s efforts and dedication to the students and families in our district. All SSSD staff are encouraged to reflect on his/her work and consider writing a short narrative (300 word limit) that includes the specific information in the following guidelines.

• All narratives must include:

• Student Demographics – Age, Grade, Sex, School
• Brief description of presenting problem
• Concise depiction of interventions and positive outcomes
• Three hundred (300) word limit

 

• Anonymity will be maintained if indicated

• Newly submitted stories will be posted monthly

• Submit Extra Mile stories to Kim Levine at levinek@sfusd.edu
