Setting the Stage

Why are nutrition, physical activity and gardening important?

Elementary School Teachers are using their senses to explore dirt. Proper nutrition begins with nutrient dense soil.  Teachers learn to tell if the soil is rich in vitamins and minerals by touching, smelling and seeing if the earth is fertile.
