The San Francisco Unified School District has a long history partnering with many Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in the Bay Area. In our effort to provide our students with the best education, we rely on our community partners to help assist with this great task.
Student Support Services Department collaborates with community based organizations, agencies, private and public institutions, as well as local city departments to “...assist school sites in building their capacity to develop, implement and coordinate programs and services to meet the needs of the whole child.” The CBO Program is committed to assisting sites in developing and maintaining vital connections to community resources.
The CBO Databank contains information on the programs and services for schools to review with their executive teams and/or school communities. Schools interested in collaborating can use this resource to manage the volume of requests and coordinate their needs with organizational capacity. With over 100 schools, this is an opportunity for collaboration with CBOs and other city agencies.
