Since 1979, the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and the San Francisco Education Fund have collaborated to operate San Francisco Peer Resources, the largest school based peer support program in the country. Peer Resources supports the healthy development of youth by providing opportunities for them to practice leadership, foster their personal, civic, and social responsibility, and make a real difference in their lives, schools, and communities.
