Welcome to the Health Promotion Committee

The Health Promotion Committee (HPC) was established in 1999 as part of a project funded by the California Department of Education, the High School Tobacco Use Prevention Education grant (TUPE), and Center for Disease Control Local HIV Prevention. The Grant to Reduce Alcohol Abuse was added in 2005.

The goal of the Health Promotion Committee is to increase the capacity and effectiveness of comprehensive and coordinated health programs at the high school level.
