The School Community Violence Prevention (SCVP) Grant is funded by the California Department of Education. The goal of the program is to increase safety and create a positive school climate at target schools, as well as coordinate services for students affected by violence. 

Currently, the SCVP Grant serves:

• Aptos Middle School
• Buena Vista/Horace Mann Middle School
• International Studies Academy (ISA)
• Visitacion Valley Middle School
