As part of the required instructional program at all grade levels in San Francisco Schools
SFUSD Health Education Curriculum Policy includes Family Diversity (Elementary) and Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity (Middle and High) delineated below:

Elementary: Two lessons of family diversity per year
Middle School: Seven periods of Diversity Education and Violence Prevention
High School: Ten periods of Diversity Education and Violence Prevention
