Access Affordable/Free Healthy Food

  • Dial 2-1-1 offers advice on food stamps (CalFresh), food banks, or housing resources for families in need. Dial 2-1-1 to access hundreds of community services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all in multiple languages.  Visit the Dial 211 website for more information.
  • Promote farmers' markets to families for fruits and vegetables that are fresh, in season and local with affordable prices. Many vendors take WIC (Women, Infants and Children) coupons and EBT (electronic benefits transfer) cards issued as identification for the CalFresh (Food Stamp Program). See the information below:
