Kindergarten Students Get an A for Apple-Based Learning

What do Harvest of the Month and Rosa Park kindergartners have in common?  Apples!

The kindergarteners have been busy measuring the height, weight and circumference (the distance around the edge of a circle) of red, yellow and green apples using non standard measurements; they’ve observed and recorded that their apples were from three to four cubes tall, weighed as much as 16 wooden cubes, and were as long around as a seven-inch piece of yarn.
