Services

Staffing and Partners

  • A part-time Learning Support Professional (LSP) is focused on CDP sites, professional development for staff and parents, and healthy transitions to kindergarten
  • The five middle school sites are staffed by LSP(s), a School District Nurse (SDN), and a Family-Community Health Outreach Worker
  • The two County Community high schools are staffed by an LSP and an SDN
  • Department of Public health/Community Behavioral Health Services provides a “single point of contact” for all mental health referrals from Safe Passages sites, and a City-wide Interagency Team member
  • San Francisco Police Department ensures School Resource Officer coverage at all Safe Passages sites in addition to providing the GREAT program at identified sites; collaboration on truancy issues and interventions; professional development on violence prevention; and a City-wide Interagency Team member
  • Juvenile Probation Department provides assistance with transitions involving students on probation or in YGC; professional development on juvenile justice issues; and collaboration on the City-wide Interagency Team to address the needs of the highest risk students
