Welcome to School Health Center

The purpose of the School Health Center is to assess elementary school children for health problems that may be interfering with their attendance, academic achievement, developmental and/or social success.

The School Health Center was established by the San Francisco Unified School District’s Student, Family, and Community Services Department – Intervention, formerly the School Health Programs Department, in January, 1992, in response to the need for comprehensive assessment and early intervention of elementary children with school difficulties.
